Plant Bio
Aloe aristata, commonly known as Lace Aloe, is a compact, hardy succulent from the Asphodelaceae family. Recognized for its rosette-shaped growth and distinctive fleshy leaves with white, soft spines, this plant is both resilient and ornamental. The dark green foliage develops lighter speckles and can take on a reddish hue under bright sunlight. Unlike larger Aloe species, Aloe aristata remains relatively small, reaching about 15–30 cm (6–12 in) in height.
Plant Care
Water
Water once a week or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause brown spots and leaf drop. Curly or dry leaves suggest, the plant is dry and needs watering. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.
Sunlight
Prefers bright, indirect light or partial sun. Can tolerate direct sunlight but should be acclimated gradually.
Ambient
Best suited for warm temperatures between 15°C - 25°C. Protect from frost or extreme cold.
Nutrients
Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to encourage vibrant foliage.
